YOUR GATEWAY TO STUDY, WORK, AND SETTLE ABROAD
We have collaborated with the world's most prestigious design institutions to
support students' international aspirations. The B.Des programs at ITM IDM align
closely with those at our partner institutions, enabling students to transfer
academic credits earned during the first two years of the B.Des program and
complete their studies abroad seamlessly. This pathway allows students to
graduate with a full degree and qualify for post-study work permits.
This Academic Pathway is designed for students who aspire to graduate, work, and
settle in Canada or the UK.
How does it work
Upon completing Year 2 at ITM IDM, students can transfer credits based on academic
performance. Depending on their academic performance, some or all of the credits
they earned are transferable. These students will join the program's second year and
can graduate within 18-24 months.
Note: A transfer fee will apply.
This option opens international career opportunities while offering substantial cost savings. The fees for the first two years at ITM IDM are per the normal INR Fee Schedule, leading to an approximate cost savings of INR 30 lakhs per year.
After graduation, students become eligible for a 2-3 year Post-Study Work Visa and receive job placement assistance. They may also apply for Permanent Residency (PR) or extend their visa for longer-term prospects.
