Event Name-Big Boss: The Game of Leadership, 2020 (Intercollegiate Competition) Date- 7th to 8th February 2020 Department- HR Department The Department of Human Resources of ITM Business School (ITM) in association with Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), Navi Mumbai organized Big Boss:The Game of Leadership-An Intercollegiate Competition on 7th February and 8th February, 2020 at ITM Business School, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
The event begun on 6th February 2020 with “Intra Collegiate Case Study Competition” in which 11 teams comprising ITM students from different batches competed and 5 teams were selected to compete with external teams in Inter collegiate Case Study Competition-Corporate Pirates: The Vision Quest. The teams were evaluated by a panel of Internal faculties comprising of Prof. Vijaynta Pawase, Dr. Sankalp Srivastava, Prof. Tanushree, Dr. Vasantha Lakshi, Dr. Jayanthi Ramesh, and Prof. Rachna Nigam.
The Inter Collegiate Competitions inclusive of 3 events took place as per the following schedule:
- Corporate Pirates: The Vision Quest-Case study Competition, 7th February 2020
- Corporate Dreamers: Pieces make Masterpieces, 8th February 2020.
- Corporate Vogue: The Global Ramp- Corporate Walk Competition, 8th February 2020.
The event started with lamp lighting by Dr. Lakshmi Mohan, Director, ITM Business School, Kharghar along with faculties of HR Department and jury panel. Dr. Lakshmi enlightened the students about the importance of intercpollegoate competition for a management student and extended her best wishes to all the participants. Mr. Niel Ramesh, Treasurer, ISTD Navi Mumbai Chapter introduced ISTD to the audience. Ms. Ameeta Ramesh, Member ISTD Navi Mumbai Chapter was also present. The teams presented the solution to case problems one by one. The jury panel evaluated the presentations as per the parameters provided. In the end Dr. Veni Nair, Assistant Director, ITM Business School felicitated the jury members with a thank you gift.
All the three events witnessed enthusiastic participation from 105 students from colleges namely, Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Management Studies, along with students of ITM Business School. The teams were assessed on various parameters by the following panel of jury comprising of ISTD members and industry experts:
