The Companions - Alumni Relations Department

The ITM Alumni Relations Department organized one of its kind and first Alumni Meet in which alumni couples were invited to share their journey at ITM and relive the memories with their friends and faculty members.

Seven beautiful alumni couples graced ITM Business School with their presence. The couples were welcomed in traditional style with a tika on forehead and sweets by Alumni Relations Student Committee volunteers. The event was presided over by Dr. Veni Nair, Assistant Director, who opened the event by welcoming the alumni, and spoke about the power of memories. She mentioned how amazing it is that these alumni found two precious things at ITM: their career and their life partner. Additionally, she shared a message from Dr. Sarit Prava Das, Dean Academics; she said Sarit ma’am would have loved to be part of this event, and has sent her heartfelt blessings.

A few of the faculty members expressed their joy at seeing their former students back on campus; it brought back fond memories of the times they taught these folks. Heart-warming words and vibes were shared as they blessed their former students with the best of things. Further the event progressed, the student volunteers of Alumni Relations engaged the couples in four fun filled games namely, Jodi Maker, Big Boss Chahte hain, 7 Questions, and Objectify. The winners of all the games were presented with a gift by faculty members.

This was followed by the alumni couples sharing the journey in ITM how they met their life companion. While the alumni were sharing their stories the faculty members present in the event scored them for their attire to find out the “Best dressed” couple.

As the function came to an end, Dr. Tanvi Rana, Faculty Co-ordinator ITM Alumni Relations thanked the alumni for taking a working Saturday off to gather at the campus for this meet and greet.      Mrs. Richa Manchanda, Manager- ITM Alumni Relations gave the closing remarks as she thanked the volunteers who put their time and efforts into making this event a success.

Following this, the alumni couples were gifted with a “Hamper of sweetness” and a “thank you scroll” the faculty members. As a goodbye gesture “plant of happiness” was also presented to all the alumni. Some of the volunteers broke into song for their super seniors. The event closed with the alumni penning down their reviews and feedback about the event on the review board placed in the venue. Lastly everyone proceeded for lunch.
