Report on Tata Crucible Quiz 2020 -Navi Mumbai City Round in ITM
The Tata Group of Companies conduct Tata Crucible Quiz since past 16 years, which is biggest national campus quiz competition covering 40 cities and 7000 teams spread across all the states. ITM B-School, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai is their venue partner since past 7 years. On 27th January 2020 the House Full Big Auditorium of ITM witnessed the entire proceedings of Tata Crucible Quiz 2020- Navi Mumbai City Round.
In all 160 teams of two students each, from 15 colleges of Navi Mumbai, participated in the Preliminary Round of the quiz. Out of these only six teams were selected for the Final Round by the Quiz Master ‘Pick Brain’ Giri Subramaniam.
In the six teams three were from ITM Kharghar campus.
- Team:1 -Atul Yadav & Akshay Patil - BA 19-21 Batch
- Team 2 - Vaibhav Prasad & Samar Shirke - F 1 19-21 Batch
- Team 3- Anil Reddy & Saurabh Rai F 1 18-20 Batch
- Team 4 – NMIMS, Kharghar
- Team 5 – Sanpada College of Commerce & Technology.
- Team 6 – RAIT, Nerul
The first prize of Rs. 75,000/- and second prize of Rs. 35,000/- was awarded to the teams of NMIMS Kharghar and Sanpada College of Commerce & Technology respectively. Our Team 1 missed the prize narrowly.
Video shooting of the entire event was done by the organisers which will be telecasted on TV channels.
Mr Chaitanya Sathe, Western India Centre Head in TCS Ltd. while awarding the prizes to the winners advised to the students of various colleges. He said " By participating in External Competitions, you enhance your knowledge, gain experience which finally help in career progression. Keep trying with full energy and dedication on the chosen subject. Success will be yours."
