Republic Day Celebrations on 26th Jan. 2020 in ITM Kharghar


In ITM B-school, Kharghar campus the Republic Day 2020 was celebrated by the faculty, staff and students with true national spirit.     

The faculty, staff and students gathered in the morning for the national flag hosting ceremony.  At 08.30 am Prof. Arjun Naik welcomed the gathering on account of the 71st Republic Day of India.  The campus director Dr. Lakshmi Mohan accompanied by dean Dr. Saritprava Das, students Arpita Nayak (DMT), Jyoti Verma (F1 -18-20) and Bonajit Patowary (F 1 18-20) hoisted the Indian National Flag. It was followed by singing the India’s National Anthem by everybody present.     

Dr. Lakshmi Mohan congratulated the members present and narrated the importance of celebrating the Republic Day. She further said that the rights provided by the Indian Constitution, to every citizen, are very special and we should enjoy them and preserve them at any cost.    

Dr. Saritprava Das reiterated the importance of Republic Day and expressed that many students should participate in such events so that the legacy is passed on to the next generation.    

Among the faculty members Dr. Sapna Modi and Prof. Sanjay Sinha spoke on the values of Republic Day. The students viz. Arpita Nayak of DMT batch and Siddhartha Rautara of M 2 batch spoke about the tasks ahead of India which are to be completed by the youth of nation in order to make India number one nation in all parameters.    

Faculty Dr. Jasmine Jha, Dr. Samie Syed, Dr. Pinky Agarwal, Dhaval Bhat, Richa Manchanda and Dy. Registrar Prof. Ramadevi Mantha and student Ms S V K S Priyanka graced the event.  

The programme was concluded by vote of thanks to all concerned by Dr. Jasmine Jha and a special breakfast was served to one and all present. Thus the Republic Day in ITM was celebrated for the 15 the successive 15th year.
