Kotak Mahindra Banking Academy in collaboration with ITM - Edutech Training Pvt. Ltd, offers a Certificate course in Banking & Sales Management. The program has been designed to attract bright young graduates who want to build a career in retail banking sales. The course curriculum has been designed by Kotak Mahindra Bank to groom aspirants for taking over the front line sales function in the Bank. Selection Process is currently in progress.
Program Description
Salient Features of the Junior Probationary Officer Training Programme
Kotak Mahindra Banking Academy, in collaboration with ITM - Edutech Training Pvt. Ltd have developed a comprehensive course for training selected candidates to take up Assistant Acquisition Manager (AAM) roles within the bank.
The Certificate course is a two-weeks residential program, conducted at the Vadodara, Noida and
Bangalore campuses of the ITM Group of Institutions.
Course Objective :
This is a skills based course designed to bridge the skill & supply gap by identifying, training and developing Assistant Managers. The broad areas of course coverage are:

Induction into Kotak Mahindra Bank and acculturation with Kotak ethos and DNA |

Building customer service orientation |

Training on product and process knowledge coupled with the compliance elements |

To build confidence for communicating effectively in a business environment. |

To groom on business etiquette. |

The trainer-led classroom course will be for duration of four weeks. On successful completion of this phase, participants would be awarded “Certificate in Banking & Sales Management”. |

The course will have a blended curriculum with instructor led classroom training (with role play activities, videos and drill sessions for practice) as well as e-learning and simulators |
The Training faculty is comprised of experienced professionals in the field of finance and sales. There is an emphasis on overall grooming of the individual, which is facilitated through a learning environment that is created through sessions delivered by experts from Kotak Mahindra Bank and the banking industry.

Roles & Responsibilities
Retail Sales
|
Incumbent will be responsible for either or both products (Current and Savings Account) |
|
To acquire customers for Current Account, Savings Account Products of the bank, from a pool of potential individuals, small businesses, trusts associations, societies and corporate. |
|
To achieve and deepen business volume and numbers. |
|
To cross-sell TPP like Insurance, Gold, Locker, FD, Asset Products etc. |
|
To retain customers through efficient customer service till three months of acquisition when accounts are handed over to branch banking team. |

On the Job Training (OJT)

The candidate will be paid a gross stipend of Rs.4000/- inclusive of PF (per month) during the on job training for 15 days at designated branch after the residential training conducted by ITM Group of Institutions. |
