Not everyone wants to take up a job at the end of the program. Some want to build their start-up! Our On-Campus Business Start-Up Incubator provides students with access to resources to develop their start-up ideas. Students may opt to work on their Start-Up idea instead of taking up the 5 month Internship. ITM has a vast array of talent in Tech, Design, Finance and supply chain fields among others, and Incubatees will have access to their time and knowledge.
Events such as hackathons, industry masterclasses, business conferences, start-up bootcamps and yatras ensure that ideas grow beyond a business plan and feasibility study, into an actual start-up.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
Idea
Interested students develop an idea for a product or service and document it.
Pitch
Ideas are developed into a business plan and presented to an internal committee. If the idea has merit and is selected, it moves to the next stage.
Prototype Support
Students get support from faculty and industry mentors to build a prototype.
Incubation
At this stage, the idea matures into a business and takes anywhere between 3 to 6 months to develop its metrics and profitability.
Funding
ITM Business School has set up a seed fund of INR 10,000,000 to fund qualifying startups within the incubator. Angel investment and VC networking opportunities are provided, too.
How we support our incubatees
We provide comprehensive support to Startups within our incubator. From idea development to product development and pitch deck to fund raising - we hand hold our students all the way through. Some of the areas of support are as follows:
We provide a dedicated incubation workspace for the incubatees within the ITM Business School campus.
Incubatees have free access to computing, printing, and internet facilities.
Our expert faculty, research associates and senior students provide assistance in market research, competition analysis, understanding market best practices, price modeling, financial modeling, business plan development, and assumption testing.
In today’s age, having a digital presence is of great importance. Almost all startups require technology assistance. We provide full support in designing and development of Web and Mobile Apps.
We offer design support for packaging design along with designing of marketing materials and collaterals.
No business can survive without a strategically designed marketing strategy. We provide comprehensive assistance in marketing messaging and a go-to-market strategy.
We offer financial support of up to INR 1,00,00,000 to deserving startups. We also offer fundraising support through angel networks and others.

With our partnership with the National Entrepreneurship Cell, we provide students a formal opportunity to network with investors. Students also get a chance to meet successful entrepreneurs and learn from their experiences.

We have an MOU with the Indian Academy of Entrepreneurship [IAEGlocal] to provide support in entrepreneurship development to our incubatee students.
